I <br /> AMENDED <br /> BILL NO. 103-83 ORDINANCE NO. <br /> AN ORDINANCE RESCINDING ORDINANCE NUMBER 92-76, AND <br /> RESCINDING THE DESIGNATION AND ESTABLISHMENT OF THE <br /> REAL ESTATE LOCATED AT 52228 GUMWOOD ROAD, AND THE <br /> IMPROVEMCNT_S LOCATED THEREUPON, AS AN HISTORIC L4 0ARK <br /> WHEREAS, by its Ordinance Number 92-76, the St. Joseph County Council <br /> heretofore designated and established the following described property as an <br /> historic landmark , under Ordinance Number 154A-1973, as amended , to-wit : <br /> 29.4 ac. fronting Gumwood Road beg. 652.35 ' <br /> N of SW corner NW Sec. 22-38-3E <br /> The historic landmark designation included improvements located upon such <br /> property and commonly described as 52228 Gumwood Road; and, <br /> WHEREAS, by reason of certain modifications made or to be made to <br /> the residential structure located thereupon, the Historic Preservation <br /> Commission of St. Joseph County, and the owner of such real estate, have <br /> requested that the historic landmark designation of such residential <br /> structure be rescinded; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the modifications made or to be made to such residential <br /> structure will change the architectural quality of such structure if this <br /> is to continue as an historic landmark. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED BY THE ST. JOSEPH COUNTY COUNCIL, THAT: <br /> SECTION 1 . Ordinance Number 92-76 is hereby rescinded. <br /> SECTION 2. The designation of the real estate described as : <br /> 29.4 ac. fronting Gumwood Road beg. 652.35' <br /> N of SW corner NW Sec. 22-38-3E; <br /> commonly described as 52228 Gumwood Road, including all improvements located <br /> thereupon, as an historic landmark, is hereby rescinded. <br /> SECTION 3.
