Page 2. <br /> Utilities Committee <br /> Mrs. Petz briefly reviewed the changes many of which were suggested at the <br /> joint meeting held by the Utilities and the Personnel and Finance Committees. <br /> Mr. Vance indicated that there should be no deficit in the Sewage <br /> funds for 1983; that the Water Works funds would reflect a deficit of <br /> approximately $800,000 at the end of next year; and that the Solid Waste <br /> Department would show a deficit of $235, 000 at the end of next year. Mrs. <br /> Petz indicated that the parking garages would show a deficit of approximately <br /> $50,000 in 1983. <br /> Following further discussion Councilman Beck made a motion seconded <br /> by Councilman Zielinski that the Utilities budget as amended be recommended <br /> favorably to Council. The motion passed 4-0. <br /> There being no further business to come before the Committee, the <br /> meeting was adjourned at 5: 30 p.m. <br /> Respectfully Submitted, <br /> Raymond C.
