The Engineer shall make available and coordinate the topographic survey work between <br />Edison Road and Prairie Avenue with the Owner's consultant designing the extension of <br />sidewalk on the west side of Ironwood Drive within these limits. <br /> <br />I. The following deliverable shall be submitted to the Owner by the Engineer: <br />1. A survey fieldbook that contains information pertaining to the staff and equipment utilized, <br />the origins of record information, findings of the Licensed Land Surveyor, utility company <br />contact information, survey control point details, temporary benchmark details, level <br />circuit notes, field notes, structure inspection data, copies of record deeds and plats, and <br />copies of existing road plans. <br />2. An electronic copy of the survey data in an Autodesk C3D compatible drawing file format, <br />with associated surface files and TIN model for use in other design platforms. The digital <br />drawing file submittal will not be presented on a title block. Any general notes and <br />discussion of findings will be enumerated in the certified fieldbook. All digital drawing <br />file data will be presented in model space with the Engineer's standard styles to include <br />appropriate layer conventions and naming. <br /> <br />A1.02 Conceptual Corridor Improvement <br /> <br />A. The Engineer shall review the existing lines of occupation, adjacent properties, public and private <br />approaches, pedestrian access routes, bike lanes, and other improvements that will need to be <br />perpetuated and provided for with the proposed project. <br />B. Conduct an inventory of previously completed work, as built drawings, turning movements at <br />the Longwood/Beyer intersection (provided by owner), to assess existing below grade <br />infrastructure and signal operation. <br />C. The Engineer shall develop a conceptual drawing for review and comment by the Owner based <br />on scope meeting input and the city consultant’s conceptual drawing. The Engineer shall conduct <br />a review meeting to receive conceptual drawing comments. <br />D. The Engineer shall coordinate and perform a project site meeting with Owner, utilities and other <br />identified stakeholders for the proposed corridor Road Diet improvements, bicycle and <br />pedestrian access, intersection signal modernization, and other improvements or changes. <br />E. The conceptual drawing shall be updated by the Engineer from comments received at the site <br />meeting. The finalized conceptual drawing shall be the basis of design for subsequent project <br />development phases. <br />F. Develop a presentation drawing for use during public meetings in general accordance with public <br />hearing visual design preparation guide. <br /> <br />A1.03 Public Engagement <br /> <br />A. Based on Conceptual Corridor Improvement developed (A1.02), the Engineer will participate in <br />a 30% review meeting with city technical staff for the purpose of further describing the proposed <br />improvements. A project overview will be presented where topics for discussion will include: <br />existing conditions, project purpose and need, alternatives considered, property impacts, storm <br />water management plan, traffic considerations, nonmotorized accommodations, finishes, and <br />other relevant information. <br />B. The conceptual corridor improvement and presentation will be modified based on comments <br />received from the 30% review meeting with city staff.
