Those PO’s were issued as a result of emergency situations which bypasses the
traditional workflow. However, with emergency public work projects, the Board does need to
retroactively approve the transaction. Thus, you will not see these come through workflow in the
traditional sense. Sue Ellen should provide you with the necessary paperwork to have these items
on the BPW agenda.

Does that make sense?

From: Laura Hensley <lhensley@southbendin.gov>
Sent: Thursday, December 2, 2021 8:34 AM
To: Michael Schmidt <mschmidt@southbendin.gov>
Subject: DFO Question?

Good morning, Michael,
I am new to this process and, am just wondering if since these have a PW-RQ code, should I assume,
these will be routing to my queue? I have them both scheduled to be on the next agenda on
December 14, 2021. Please advise?

A. Emergency Sewer Repair – Selge Construction Co., Inc.
1.
