v <br /> ._w <br /> istration at John Stancoti recording the "vehicle Fleet" look into : (1) <br /> coordinated purchasing for parts and vehicles; (2) standardization of vehicles; <br /> (3) eliminating the five city-garages and use one central garage; and (4) <br /> coordinating services with the County and City. <br /> The Committee also suggested that Mr. Stancoti should work closely with <br /> the Council' s Public Works Committee as well the City Administration. <br /> Councilman Crone and McGann emphasized the need for regular and routine <br /> license fee and permit fee reviews. Councilman Crone noted that her Commit- <br /> tee was continudn:g to `studY this area and would have a meeting in the next <br /> few weeks. <br /> Fall arriving more discussion; the Committee appeared to be in general <br /> agreement on the following points: <br /> (1) that $100, 000 be allocated from Revenue Sharing. <br /> (2), that the City Administration continue to look into the possibilty <br /> of lease-purchasing the Police Department vehicles and the Street <br /> Department vehicles; and <br /> (3) that the possibilty of using "EMS" funds for the Fire Department <br /> pumper be purchased. <br /> An additional $61, 000 to 68, 000 remains to be addressed either through ad- <br /> ditional cuts in the present City budget and/or fee increased. <br /> Councilman Crone requested the Committee members to continue to review <br /> this matter. She noted that perhaps an additional meeting would be held <br /> to address further recommendations. <br /> There being no further business to come before the Committee the meeting <br /> was adjourned at 12 : 30 p.m. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> Beverly D.
