ii. During rebid, low bid from Ziolkowski rejected as they did not meet MBE <br />goal. Division 1 (Kaley) – 5.4%W and 3.2%M - HRP did not meet goals, Selge met <br />goals <br />ii. Division 2 (Marion) – 5.1%W and 2.7%M - Selge met goals <br />iii. Low bid for Div 1 was HRP, MBE 0.9%, GFE’s affirmed but not met after <br />further questions, award to Selge on 9/28 <br />1. Questions re: GFE – template emails versus making a call to subs to <br />try to make the goals, appropriate selection of portion of scope for <br />MBE <br /> <br />7) Ward Bakery - 121-061 – 11/9/21 <br />i. Bid Package 1 (Masonry) <br />1. Ziolkowski Construction (Low Bidder) was able to meet MBE/WBE <br />utilization goals (MET Construction, LLC – 7811 Teel Way Indianapolis, <br />IN 46256 <br />a. MBE/WBE – 5.1% (Goal - 0.3% MBE, 3.6% WBE) <br />2. Slatile did not complete the correct MBE/WBE forms and did not <br />provide adequate MBE/WBE utilization <br />a. MBE - 2.8% (Goal - 0.3%), WBE – 3% (Goal-3.6%) <br />ii. Bid Package 2 (Doors/Windows) <br />1. R Yoder was not able to meet MBE/WBE goals <br />a. MBE- Reached out to one firm, unable to secure a bid <br />b. WBE- Reached out to two firms, unable to secure bid <br />iii. The bids were beyond the project budget. The base bids received were <br />$205,768 over the Architect’s estimate and $17,767 over the total TIF <br />allotment. The project scope and schedule will be adjusted and re- <br />advertised. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
