6 <br />(1) When a truck has a subsequent delivery or pick-up scheduled within the immediate <br />vicinity for that day, the truck may proceed to a subsequent pick-up or subsequent <br />delivery location(s) only if all of the following conditions are met: <br />(i) The driver has in his or her possession a written bill of lading or <br />similar document for the next subsequent delivery or will have a <br />pick-up order upon reaching said subsequent pick-up location(s); <br />(ii) The driver has in his or her possession a written manifest or similar <br />document which shows all of the scheduled delivery or pick-up <br />location(s) for that day; and <br />(iii)The distance from the first delivery or pick-up location off the <br />truck route to the next subsequent delivery(s) or pick-up <br />location(s) is not greater than a total of nine (9) City blocks the <br />first delivery or pick-up location. <br />So long as the conditions of this sub-Section (c) are met, it is the intent of this <br />sub-Section (c) to permit as many subsequent deliveries or pick-ups from the <br />initial location which was off of the designated truck route so long as such <br />subsequent deliveries or pick-ups are within a maximum distance of one-half <br />mile from the initial delivery or pick-up location. It is the further intent of this <br />sub-Section (c) to permit subsequent deliveries or pick-ups by the truck if <br />such subsequent deliveries or pick-ups are on the most direct route back to the <br />designated truck route. <br />(d) Residential Streets <br />(1)All trucks as defined in section 20-106 when finished delivering or picking up <br />goods or providing a service within the city, shall return to the nearest truck route <br />by the most direct route, except through residential areas with roadway widths less <br />than 28 feet, unless the destination is on such a street. <br />(2) Any truck driver who is stopped by a City or State Police Officer on a street which <br />is not designated as a truck route, and who does not have a written bill of lading <br />and a written manifest, City permit, or similar documents as required by sub- <br />paragraph (c) herein, shall be in violation of this section and shall be issued a <br />citation. <br />(e) Weather <br />Oversize, overweight or hazardous loads shall not move in the City during <br />inclement weather when such weather conditions could cause the movement to <br />become a hazard to persons or traffic, or damage the streets, traffic signals, utility <br />structures, or other property. Should such conditions develop during the <br />movement, the driver shall stop movement of the hazardous, oversize or <br />overweight load, and proceed when conditions have cleared. <br />Frost Law <br />(f) Stopping, Standing, Parking <br />No person shall stop, stand or park a truck as defined in section 20-106 on any <br />street, other than for the expeditious loading or unloading of freight, except in <br />cases of emergency when such truck is broken down and unable to move, and <br />except also in the event a moving van is loading or unloading furniture and <br />household goods, or the furniture and equipment and goods, wares and <br />merchandise of a business, in either of which events the operator of such truck will
