797 Engineer filed rolls showing awards of damages and assessments of benefits for the opening of Rupel street; Werwinski street, Alley between Werwinski street and Longley avenue; College street and Longley avenue across the Indiana, Illinois & Iowa Railroad and for the opening of Terrace avenue from Woodward avenue to St. Joseph River. All Under Conecanation Resolutions Nos. 37, 302 39, 40, 41, 42 respectively. The Board having fully considered said.ma tter, decide that the damages and benefits are equal and that none of the real estate mentioned in the assessment rolls herein is specificially benefitted or. damaged and said assessment rolls are here -upon adopted. It is further ordered that notice of such awards of -damages and assessment of benefits, be served by the Police Department according to law, and that a hearing be had on October 23rd, 1907, at 10 A. M. for the purpose of hearing or receiving objections from any person or persons interested in said matter. VACATION RESOLUTION NO 49. Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana: That it is.desirable to vacate the following: Vacation of that part of Sample Street, extending from the west line of Olive Street, west to the westerly line of right .of way of the New Jersey Indiana & Illinois R.R.Co. Notice of this resolution shall be publishedon the 28th day of September and on the 5th day of October 1907, in the South Bend Daily Times. This Board, at its office in the City Hall on the 16th day of October at 101A. M. will hear and receive remonstrances from all persons interested in or effected by these proceedings. Adopted this 27th day of September 1907. BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS. CONDEMNATION RESOLUTION NO 431 . RESOLVED by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend,Indiana; That the following described property be appropriated for the use of said City. Begin at the intersection of the south line of Sample Street and the east line of Olive Street thence south 65 feet, thence -north easterly to a point in the south line of Sample Street 150 feet east to the east line of -Olive Street, thence crest 150 feet to the place of beginning. The following described property may be injuriously or beneficially affected by such appropriation; Right of way Chieago,Indiana & Southern R.R.Co. " Grand Trunk Western Ry Co. " New Jersey,Indiana & Illinois R.R.Co. N.W. 1/4 of N.E.1/4 of Section 15 Tp.37 N.R.2E. James Oliver. The purpose of such appropriation is to open a public thoroughfare along the south side of the Chicago,Indiana & Southern R.R. from Sample Street to Olive Street. Notice of this resolution shall be published on the 28th day of September and on the 5th day of October 1907; in the South Bend Daily Times. This Board at its office in the City Hall on the 16th day of October 1907;, at 10 O'clock A.M. will hear and receive remonstrances from all persons interested in or affected by these proceedings.
