Mr. Papczynski absent. <br />Petition filed by the property owners on Park avenue from Forest avenue to <br />Leland avenue, asking that the street be graded to the i-iner sidewalk line only, <br />and that they be.allowed to start their terraces from said line. <br />Engineer filed Assessment --dolls and final estimates for water connections on <br />Broadway from Lafayette street to Carroll street; Pipe Sewer on Howard street from <br />Leeper avenue to St. Louis street; Cement Walk on Howard street from Lawrence <br />street to Notre Dame ateiiu6; Gra(.e, Curb h Walk on Jackson street from Sample <br />street to Dunham street, Grade, Curb & Walk on Calvert street from Leer street <br />to Caroline street; Brick Pavement on Alley west of Michigan street from Division <br />street to Mayne street; Brick Pavement on Rush street from Monroe street to Sample <br />street. All under Improvement Resolutions Nos. 482:...,422, 4492 4752 4467479 <br />& 430 respectively. <br />Resolved, that notices as to the amounts of assessments be published <br />for six consecutive days in the South Bend Daily Times, cor:,mencing on the 29th day <br />of September 1907, stating that this Board will give a hearing on the amount of <br />..such assessments at its office in .the City Hall on the 2Bth day of Ocotober, 1907, <br />at 7:15 P. M. <br />Resolved further, that the entire work under tha above contracts be accepted <br />and approved and the final estimate thereon allowed. Notice of this resolution shall <br />be published on the 28th day of September 1907, in the South Bend Daily Times, stating <br />that this Board will give a hearing on the acceptance of such work at its office in <br />the City Hall on the 15th day of October 1907, at 7:15 P. M. <br />Engineer reported the following grades: <br />lst and 2nd alley south of Wenger street. Alley south of Division street, and <br />Alley south of Michigan street, Miami street and Whiteman Court. Same wer approved. <br />Harry Hodes, by Atty. John W. Kitch, filed claim for $195.00 damages supposed <br />to have been sustained by said Hodes and his horse by falling into an excavation <br />at the corner of Michigan & Division streets. *Referred to the City Attorney. <br />Owing to a Clerical error the Clerk was instructed to re -advertises; <br />Condemnation Resolution No. 36, for the opening of Woodward avenue & Terrace`avenue* <br />A Hearing will be had on skid resolution on October 1 k, 19072 at, 10 A. M. <br />X:gdiana & Michigan Electric Co were notified to discontinue the Park Lights <br />October lst, 1907. <br />Hearing on Roll of awards of damages and assessment of benefits in the <br />opening of 016ve and Sample streets, under Condemnation Resolution No. 30, <br />deferred until October llth, 1907, at 10 ;00 A. M. <br />Hearing on Condemnation Resolutions Nos. 37, 3$, 39, 40, 41, h 42 was <br />deferred until Wednesday October 23rd, 1907, at 10 A. M. <br />
