Tuesday August 20th, 1907. <br />The Board met in regular session at 10 A. M. All members present. <br />Petition filed for the extension of the Cherry street sewer to the lst alley <br />south of Jefferson street. GRATED. <br />IMPROVEIutENT RESOLUTION NO. 501. <br />Resolved by the Board of Public Forks of the City of South Bend, Indiana: That <br />an improvement be made of the kind, size, location and terminal points as follows: <br />Pipe Sewer on Cherry street from the end.of the present sewer to the 1st alley <br />south.of Jefferson street. Said improvement shall be known and designated as the <br />"CHERRY STREET PIPE SEWER IMPROVEMENT" and shall be constructed according to the <br />plans and specifications prepared by the City Civil Engineer, filed herewith. Notice <br />of this resolution shall be published on the 21st day of August and on the 28th <br />day of August, 1907, in the South Bend Daily Times. This Board will give a hearing <br />on this resolution at its office in the City Hall'on the 3rd day of September <br />1907, at 7:15 P. M. <br />A Bond or Bonds to be issued to the Contractor in payment for such work where <br />the property owner signs waiver required, as according to law. Which said bo-.ds <br />shall bear interest at the rate of five per cent per annum, payable as provided <br />by law. <br />Adopted this 20th day of Aug 1907. <br />BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS. <br />CHAPIN STREET. <br />Hearing given on Condemnation Resolution No. 32, appropriating the following <br />described property <br />Begin at the south east corner of lot 11 Raff's 1st addition; thence east 50 <br />feet; thence south to the south lane of the right of way of St. Joseph, South Bend <br />& Southern Railroad; thence west 50 feet; thence north to place of beginning.' <br />In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances were filed. <br />The Board therefore declare the above described property in all things condemned <br />andappropriated for public use. <br />CATALPA AVENUE. <br />Hearing given on Condemnation Resolution No. 33, appropriating the following <br />described property: <br />Begin at the south west corner of lot 12 Raff's 1st addition; thence west 45 <br />feet; thence south to the south line of right of way of St. Joseph, South Bend <br />& Southern Railroad; thence east 45 feet; thence north to place of beginning. <br />In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no remonstrancew were filed. <br />The Board therefore declare the above described property in all things condemned <br />and appropriated for public use. <br />KENDALL STREET. <br />Hearing given on Condemnation Resolution No. 34, appropriating the following <br />described property: <br />Begin at the south east corner of lot 9 Raff's 1st addition; thence east 50 <br />feet; thence Routh to the south line of right of way of St. Joseph, South Bend <br />Southern Railroad; thence west 50 feet; ,thence north to the place of beginning. <br />In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances were filed. <br />The Board therefore declare the above described property in all things condemned <br />and appropriated for public use. <br />
