6�7 <br />Friday March .8th. 1 <br />The Board met in regular session at 10 A. M. Mr. PaPczynski absent. <br />Petition filed for the filling up of the alley North of E. LaSalle avenue between <br />Sycamore street and the east race. <br />Engineer reported grade on Cherry street. Sane was approved. <br />Indiana Lumber Co were granted lbermission to temporarily close <br />Michigan street in the rear of their property. <br />the alley east of <br />Petition filed for Grade, Curb & Walk on Kendall street from Indiana avenue <br />to the Oliver fields. Referred to the Engineer for specifications. <br />Light ordered at the Culvert on Dayton street. ` <br />Petition filed for a watering trough in the vicinity of S. Michigan street and <br />Dubail avenue. Referred to the Street. Commissioner. <br />Engineer was instructed to prepare specifications for Brick Pavement on East <br />Washington street from Vistula avenue to Artesian avenue. Said specifications to <br />include Cement curbing and Cement Walks also atZetaining wall on the North side of the <br />Rtreet. <br />VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 44. &-- <br />Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of Soutfl Bend, Indiana: That it <br />Is desirable to vacate the following <br />The alley fourteen (14) feet in width running North and South from Bronson street <br />to the south line of the Lake Shore & Michigan Southern Railroad Company's Right of Way <br />and between lots Nos. 23, 24, 32 & 33 in Martin & Tutts Addition to the City of <br />South Bend, Indiana. <br />The following property may be injuroiusly or beneficially effected by such vacation,: <br />Lots 23, 24 32 & 33 in Martin & Tutt's Add. Owned by Studebaker Bros. Mfg. Co. <br />Notice of this resolution shall be published on the 9th day of March and on the <br />16 th day of March, 1907, in the South Bend Daily Times. <br />This Board, at its office in the City Hall on the 27th day of March., 1907, <br />at 10 A. M. will hear and receive remonstrances from all persons.interested in or <br />affected by these proceedings. <br />Adopted this 8th day of March , 1907. <br />BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS.` <br />(over) <br />
