All members present. <br />Bids were received and referred to the Engineer for tabulation for Pipe Sewer on' <br />Howard street; Brick Pavement on Past Bronson street; Michigan avenue; Crescent avenue; <br />West Jefferson street. <br />Remonstrance file.,by Wm. Rupel et al against Grade, Curb & Walk on Calvert <br />street from Leer street to Caroline street. OVER -RULED. <br />Petition filed by Emma Ryan asking permission to grade here property and construct <br />cement walk 4E curbs on East Wayne street cor of Notre Dame street. NOT GRANTED. <br />Chief of Police instructed to notify owners of a barge, which is now tied to a tree <br />at Howard Park, to move same at once. <br />The following arc lamps were ordered installed: <br />Garst and Franklin streets. <br />Indiana and Kemble avenues: <br />Carroll and Monroe streets. <br />Michigan street and Indiana avenue. <br />Navarre street and Marion Boulevard. <br />Diamond avenue between Mich ave and end of street. <br />IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 423. <br />Resolved by the Board of Public Works of 'the City of South Bend, Indiana: That an <br />improvement be made of the kind, size, location and terminal points as follows: Macadam <br />Cement Walk & Curb on Anderson Court from Park avenue to Leeper.avenue. Said improvemes <br />shall be known and designated'as "THE ANDERSON COURT'MACADAM, WALK & CURB IMPROVEMENT" <br />and shall be constructed according to theplans and specifications prepared by the City <br />Civil Engineer, filed herewith. Notice of this resolution shall be published on the <br />20th day of March and on the 27th day of March 1907, in the South Bend Daily Times. <br />This Board will give a hearing on this resolution at its office in the City Hall.on the <br />9th day of April, 1907, at 7:15 P. M. <br />A Bond or Bonds to be issued to the Contractor in payment for such work where the <br />property owner signs waiver required, as according to law.
