ORDINANCE NO. 7 ,Qa AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED JUST NORTH OF THE CORNER OF LAFAYETTE AND SAMPLE STREETS, SOUTH BEND, INDIANA ON THE WEST SIDE OF THE STREET BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana: SECTION I. Ordinance No. 4990-68, as amended, which ordin- ance is commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance of the City of South Bend, Indiana, be and the same hereby is amended in order that the zoning classification of the following described real estate in the City of'South Bend, St. Joseph County, State of Indiana: A parcel of land being a part of the Southeast Quarter of Section 11 and part of the Southwest Quarter of Section 12, Township 37 North, Range 2 East, Second P.M. , St. Joseph County, Indiana and being more particularly described as follows : Commencing at the Northeast corner of Tract 3 of the Studebaker Corp. Replat as recorded in the office of the Recorder of St. Joseph County, Indiana in Plat Book 11, Page 184 thence South 0-12 '-10" East, along the West right-of-way line of LaFayette Street, a distance of 1108.17 feet to the place of beginning; thence contin- uing South 0-12 ' -10" East, a distance of 80 . 00 feet; thence South 89-50 ' -22" West, a distance of 250 . 00 feet; thence North 0-12 ' - ' 0" West parallel with the West right-of-way line of said Lafayette Street, a distance of 80 . 00 feet; thence North 89-50 '-22" East, a distance of 250 . 00 feet to the place of beginning containing 0. 46 acres more or less. be and the .same is hereby established as "D" Light Industrial and "F" Height and Area.
