ZONING APPLICATION Date Filed: August , 1986 Application No. Date Received by the Area Plan Commission: August , 1986 The undersigned makes application and petitions the Common Council of the City of South Bend to amend the zoning ordinance as herein requested. 1 ) The property sought to be rezoned is located just north of the corner of Lafayette and Sample Street in the City of South Bend on the west side of the street. 2 ) The name and address of the property owner is Transwestern Investment, Inc. , c/o Robert W. Green, 330 E. Jefferson Blvd. , South Bend, Indiana 46601, Telephone 232-3992 . 3 ) The name and the address of the contingent purchaser is South Bend Policemen's Federal Credit Union, 701 W. Sample Street, South Bend, Indiana 46621, Telephone 234-1524 . 4 ) It is desired and requested that this property be rezoned from "E" Heavy Industrial and "F" Height and Area to "D" Light Industrial and "F" Height and Area. 5 ) The rezoning is requested to allow the contingent purchaser to construct a building to house the South Bend Policemen' s Federal Credit Union. 6 ) Attached is a copy of (a) legal description of the property; (b) a list of the names and addresses of all property owners within 300 feet of the petition property; (c) five (5 ) site plans ; and (d) addressed, stamped envelopes for all property owners within 300 feet of the petition property. 7 ) By signing this petition, I and any contingent purchaser under- stand that if the Council approves this petition to rezone, it may be approved subject to the submittal of a final site plan. A final site plan must be submitted to the Area Plan Commission within one (1) year of the Council ' s action.
