1v fi, �� 4 The Board met in regular session at 10 A. M. Mr. Papezynski absent. Bids were opened for Asphalt Pavement on West Jefferson street from Lafayette street to Michigan street. Owing to an irregularity in the bids the same were rejected and new bids will be received in J�'ri.Z 1901. Contracts were signed with Thomas Williams for Water Connections on North Taylor street and on South Bend avenue. Petition filed for the opening of Scott, Kendall, Chapin streets and Catalpa avenue from Indiana avenue to Olivers field. IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 412. Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana: That an improvement be made of the kind, size, location and terminal points as follows: Pipe Sewer on Leland avenue from end of present brick pavement to Hudson avenue. Said improve- ment shall be known and designated as "THE LELAND AVENUE PIPE SEWER IMPROVEMENT" anD shall be constructed according to the plans and -specifications prepared by the City Civil Engineer, filed herewith. Notice of this resolution shall be published on the 9th day of October and on the 16th day of October 1906, in the South Bend Daily Times. This Board will give a hearing on this resolution at its office in the City Hall on the 26th day of October 1906, at 10 A. M. A Bond or Bonds to be issued to the Contractor in payment for such work where the property owner signs waiver required, as according to law. Which said bonds shall bear interest at the rate of five per cent per annum, payable as provided by law. Adopted this 9th day of October 1906. BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS. IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 413. Said improvement shall be known and designated as "THE ST. LOUIS STREET GRADING IMPROVEMENT" and shall be constructed according to the plans and specifications prepared by the City Civil Engineer, filed here- with. Notice of this resolution shall be published on the 9th day of October and on the 16th dav of October 1906, in the South Bend Daily Times.
