The Board met -in regular session at 10 A. M. Mr. Niear absent. Engineer filed assessment rolls and final estimates for the following improvements: — Concrete Trunk Sewer on Kenwood avenue and Meade street from Johnson street to Linden avenue, Grade, Cubb &Walk on Pulaski street from Dunham street to Sample street; Grade, Curb & Wald- on Leer street from Dayton street to Calvert street Curb & Grade on Olive street from Kenwood avenue to Michigan avenue,.Curb on Walnut street from Division street to Ford street, Pipe Sewer on Marietta street from Sample street to Ohio street, Water Connections on N. Taylor street from Michigan avenue to Marion street. All under Improvement Resolutions Nos. 304, 365, 376, 362, 3562 374 & 410 respectively. Resolved, that notices as to the amounts of assessments be published for six consecut've days in the South Bend Daily Times, commencing on the 17th day of October 1906, stating that this Board will give a hearing on the amount of such assessments at its office in the City Hall on the 30th day of October 1906, at 7:15 P. M. Resolved further, that the entire work under the above contracts be accepted and approved and the final estimate thereon allowed. Notice of this resolution shall be published on the 17th day of October 1906, in the South Bend Daily Times, stating that this Board will give a hearing on the acceptance of such work at its office in the City Hall on the 30th day of October 1906, at 7:15 P. M. Bond of R. Z. Snell filed and approved and Contract signed for the Ernsperger street cement walk improvement. Plan of the Home Telephone Companys underground extension filed.and.approved. Contract entered into with Andrew Anderson, Emma DuShane and Jaenie Putnam for dertain lands to be used for Park Purposes. Referred to the Common Council. 11" President.
