5'86 Tuesday Sept llth, 1906. Hearing on Declaratory Resolution No. 394 for Asphalt Pavement on Notre Dame street from Jefferson street to Cedar street, deferred until September 25th, 1906, at 7:15 P. M. Hearing on Declaratory Resolution for Grade, Curb & Walk on Spruce Place from Colfax avenue to alley south under Impr Res No.;401 deferred until Friday September 14th, 1906, at 10 A. M. Hearing given on Assessment Roll and final estimate for Cement sidewalks on the East side of Portage avenue from Hudson avenue to Kinyon street, under Improvement Resolution No. 358. No remonstrators appeard and no remonstrances were filed. The Board therefore find that the property assessed in said rolls filed August 22nd, 1906, is benefitted in the amount of assessments as shown on said rolls and the Board further find that the assessment roll filed August 22nd, 1906, and the final estimate allowed August 22nd, 1906., should be and the same is hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and approved. Hearing given on Declaratory Resolutions for Brick Pavement on Alley North of Colfax avenue from Francis street to Notre Dame street and alley east of Notre Dame street from Colfax avenue to Alley North; Brick Pavement on Alley South of Colfax avenue from Lafayette street to William street, Grade, Curb & Walk on Ford street from Warren street to N. J. I. & I. R. R., Cement Walk on Lafayette street from Wayne street to Division street; Cement Walk on Vistula avenue from Caroline street to Ernsperger street, Grade, Curb & Walk on Leon Court from Kemble avenue to Catalpa avenue, Cement Walk on Ernsperger street from Vistula avenue to Alley North of Randolph street, Pipe Sewer on Notre Dame street from Jefferson street to Sorin street All under Improvement Resolutions Nos. 395, 3962 397, 395, 399, 4002 402, 403 respt. Engineer filed estimated cost as follows: Alley No. of Colfax (Coquillard Ford street Grade, Curb & Walk S. Lafayette street sidewalks Nrnsperger street sidewalks Leon Court Grade, Curb & Walk Vistula avenue Sidewalks School Alley) Brick Alley South of Colfax avenue Brick pavement Notre Dame street Pipe sewer $1t315.00 22024.00 16o.00 340.00 470.00 896.o0 1,520.00 5,173.00 In the above matter no further remonstrators appeard and no further remonstrances were filed. Ellother remonstrances were over-ruldd. The Board therefore find in each and every case in said improvements that the benefits to the property and to the City of South Bend are equal to the estimated cost of said improvements and the -same are hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and approved. Resolved that notices be published in the South Bend Daily Times on the 12th day of September and on the 19th day of September, 1906, to the effect that this Board will receive bids for said improvements up to 10 A. M. on the 25th day of September 1906,. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bias. The above advertisement for bids to include Pipe Sewer on St. Louis & Miner streets from South Bend avenue to St. Peter street, under Imp Resolution No. 385.
