506 THE SPECIAL SESSION TUESDAY EVENING AUGUST 7Th, 1906, AT 7:15 P. M. The Board met in special session at,7:15 P. M. Mr. Papczynski absent. i Hearing on Declaratory Resolution for Pipe Sewer on Pagin street from Linden avenue to Hine street and Grade, Curb & Walk on St. Peter street from Corby street to Napoleon street, under Improvement Resolutions Nos. 371 and 379 respect- fully was deferred until Friday mortdng August loth, 19062 at 10 A. M. Improvement Resolution No. 377 for Grade, Curb & Walk on Milton avenue was amended so as t6=read sidewalks on the North side of the street only. Hearing given on the following Declaratory Resolutions for the following improvements; - Brick Pavement'on Perkins street from Chapin street to Laurel street; Pipe Sewer on Perkins street from C?Mpin street to Laurel street; Pipe >ewer on Crescent avenue from Emerick street to Hill street; Pipe Sewer on Marietta street from Sample street to Ohio street; Pipe Sewer on Sherman avenue from Van Buren street to the north end of Sherman avenue; Grade, Curb & Walk on Leer street from Dayton. street to Calvert street; Grade, Curb-.& Walk on Milton avenue from Michigan avenue to Fellows street; Grade, Curb & Walk on Laurel street from Division street to Perkins street; Grade, Curb & Walk on Catalpa avenue from the alley north of Leon court to the T. H. & L. R. R. All under Improvement resolutions Nos. 370, 3722 3732 3742 3752 376, 377, 379 & 380 respectively. In the above matter no further remonstrantors appeardd and no further remon- strances were filed, all other remonstrances were over -ruled. The Board therefore find in each and every case in said improvements that the benefits to the property and to the City of South Rend are eQual to the estimated cost of said improvements and the same are hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and approved. Engineer filed estimated cost as follows: Perkins street, Brick Pavemzmt $22935.00 Perkins street,,Pipe Sewer 1,417.00 Crescent avenue, Pipe Sewer 12195.00 Marietta street, Pipe Sewer 570.00 Sherman avenue, Pipe Sewer 2 ,992.00 Leer street, Grade, Curb & Walk 12650.00 Milton avenue Grade, Curb & Walk 32000.00 Laurel street, Grade, Curb & Walk 476.00 Catalpa avenue, Grade, Curb & Walk 925.00 Be it resolved that notices be published in the South Bend Daily Times on the 9th day of August and on the 16th day of August, 1906, to the effect that this Board will receive bids for said improvements up to 10 A. M. on the 29th day of August 1906. The Board reserves the ri ght to reject any or all bids.
