The Board met in regular session -at 10 A. M. Mr. Papczynski absent. <br />Bids were opened and referred to the Engineer for tabulation for the following: <br />Sewer and Water Connections on E. Washington street; Water Connections on South <br />Bend avenue; Curb on Walnut street; Walk on S. Lafayette street; Walk on Niles <br />avenue; Walk on Portage avenue; Grade, Curb & Walk on Cottage Grove avenue; Grade, <br />Curb & Walk on Marine street; Brick Pavement on Lafayette street; Brick Pavement <br />on Cushing street; Brick Pavement on Alley South of Washington street; Brick Pavement <br />on Alley west of Main street; Pipe'Seweron Broadway street; Pipe Sewer on LaPorte <br />avenue. <br />Petition filed for an*Electric light at the intersection of Blaine avenue and <br />the first alley North of Lindsey street. Same was ordered in. <br />Contractor Bond of Clem W. Studebaker filed and. approved.. <br />City Attorney instructed to -notify the Home and Bell Telephone Companies <br />to change locations of poles at No. 1223 Marietta street. <br />President. <br />SPECIAL MEETING TUESDAY EVENING JULY LOTH, 1906, AT 7:15 P. M. <br />The Board met in Special session at 7:15 P. M. Mr. Papczynski absent. <br />Hearing given on Assessment Rolls and final estimates for Sewer Connections <br />on Columbia street'from Wayne street to the south end of Columbia street,Water <br />Connections on West Washington street from College street to Olive street; Water <br />Connections on E -Jefferson street from Vistula avenue to the bridge; Grading on <br />Dayton street from Marietta street to the Alley East of High street; Cement sidewalk <br />on Eddy street & Mishawaka avenue from the Grand Trunk R.R. to Sample street bridge. <br />All under Improvement Resolutions Nos. 346, 333, 3322 303 & 318 respectively. <br />No remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances were filed The Board therefore <br />find that the property assessed in said rolls filed June 19th and June 22. 19067 <br />is benefitted in the amount of assessments as shown on said rolls and the Board <br />further find that the assessment rolls filed June 19th and June 22nd, 1906, and the <br />final estimates allowed June 19th and June 22nd, 1906, should be and the same are <br />hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and approved. <br />Petition for AsPhalt pavement on Notre Dame street from Jefferson street <br />to Cedar street.
