The Board met in regular session -at 10 A. M. Mr. Papczynski absent. Bids were opened and referred to the Engineer for tabulation for the following: Sewer and Water Connections on E. Washington street; Water Connections on South Bend avenue; Curb on Walnut street; Walk on S. Lafayette street; Walk on Niles avenue; Walk on Portage avenue; Grade, Curb & Walk on Cottage Grove avenue; Grade, Curb & Walk on Marine street; Brick Pavement on Lafayette street; Brick Pavement on Cushing street; Brick Pavement on Alley South of Washington street; Brick Pavement on Alley west of Main street; Pipe'Seweron Broadway street; Pipe Sewer on LaPorte avenue. Petition filed for an*Electric light at the intersection of Blaine avenue and the first alley North of Lindsey street. Same was ordered in. Contractor Bond of Clem W. Studebaker filed and. approved.. City Attorney instructed to -notify the Home and Bell Telephone Companies to change locations of poles at No. 1223 Marietta street. President. SPECIAL MEETING TUESDAY EVENING JULY LOTH, 1906, AT 7:15 P. M. The Board met in Special session at 7:15 P. M. Mr. Papczynski absent. Hearing given on Assessment Rolls and final estimates for Sewer Connections on Columbia street'from Wayne street to the south end of Columbia street,Water Connections on West Washington street from College street to Olive street; Water Connections on E -Jefferson street from Vistula avenue to the bridge; Grading on Dayton street from Marietta street to the Alley East of High street; Cement sidewalk on Eddy street & Mishawaka avenue from the Grand Trunk R.R. to Sample street bridge. All under Improvement Resolutions Nos. 346, 333, 3322 303 & 318 respectively. No remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances were filed The Board therefore find that the property assessed in said rolls filed June 19th and June 22. 19067 is benefitted in the amount of assessments as shown on said rolls and the Board further find that the assessment rolls filed June 19th and June 22nd, 1906, and the final estimates allowed June 19th and June 22nd, 1906, should be and the same are hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and approved. Petition for AsPhalt pavement on Notre Dame street from Jefferson street to Cedar street. Referred to the Engineer for Specifications.
