458 Tuesda 22nd, 1906. The Board met in regular session at 10 A. M. All members present. Bids were opened and referred to the Engineer for tabulation for Brick Pavement on Columbia street; W. Tutt street, Pipe Sewer on Cedar street and Chestnut street. Remonstrance filed by the New Jersey, Indiana & ILL R. R. Co against the opening of Huron street across their property. Engineer reporter' grade on the following alleys, to -wit: Alley between William and Taylor street from Washington to Division street. Alley south of Division street from Main to Lafayette street. Alley between Main and Lafayette streets from Wayne to Monroe streets. Alley south of Wayne from Lafayette to Main streets Same were approved. IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 350. Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana: That an improvement be made of the kin, size, location and terminal°points as follows: A Brick (block) pavement on the alley south of Washington street from Lafayette street to Court street. Said improvement shall be known and designates as "THE ALLEY SOUTH OF WASHINGTON STREET BRICK PAVEMENT IMPROVEMENT" and shall be'constructed according to the plans and specifications prepared by the City Civil Engy-ineer, filed herewith. Notice of this resolution shall be published on the 24th day of May and on the 31st day of May 1906, in the South Bend Daily Times. This board will give a hearing on this resolution at its office in the City Hall on the 12th day of June1906, at 7:15 P. 14. A Bond or Bonds to be issued to the Contractor in payment for such work where the property owner signs waiver required as according to law. Which said bonds -hall bear interest at the ' rate of five per cent per annum, payable as provided by lain. Adopted this 22nd day of May 190(.S.. BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS. Notice of this resolution shall be published on the 24th day of May and on the 31st day of May 1906, in the South Bend Daily Times.
