The Board met in regular session at 10 A. 14 All membevs present. Petition filed for the vacation of the alley between lots 13 & 14 in_Dunbars Sub -Division. Referred to the Engineer. Petition filed for -Pipe Sewer.. on. High and Pennsylvania avenue --from east end of High street sewer to Fellows street. Hon Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana. Gentlemen: -- We the undersigned propertyowners propose to give to the City all land - necessary to open Carroll street between Penn avenue and,Indianaavenue to conform to width of said streeet north of Penn avenue on the following terms and conditions. PROVIDED, that the City will exempt Said property owners from any cost or assessments for grading Curbing and laying of cement sidewalks on said portion of said street. Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South, Bend, Indiana: That an improvement be made of the kind, size, location and terminal points as follows: Three Sewer and Five Water Connections on S.. Main street from Washington street to Jefferson street, according to the report submitted: to the Comm-n Council and adopted by them on the llth day of March 1906. Said improvement shall be known and desig- nated as "THE S. MAIN STREET SEWER AND WATER CONNECTION IMPROVEMENT" and shall be constructed according to the plans and specifications prepared by the.City Civil Engineer, filed herewith,. Notice of proposals for bids for the execution of the above work shall be published on the llth day of April and on the 19th day of April 1906, in the South Bend Daily Times.
