2St� Tue The Board met in regular session at 10 A. M. All members present. Application filed by Dudley M. Shively for a franchise to build and operate a Gas plant in this City. Applicant instructed to furnish each member of the Board with a copy of the proposed franchise. Petition filed for Brick Pavement on Marietta street fromBronson street to Sample St. Petition filed for Pipe Sewer on Sherman Avenue from Van Buren St. to Portage Ave. IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 305. Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana: That an improvement be made of the kind, size, location and terminal points as follows: Asphalt pavement on S. Main street from Washington street to Jefferson street. Said Improvement shall be known and designated as "THE MAIN STREET ASPHALT" and shall be constructed accord- ing to the plans and. specifications prepared by the City Civil Engineer, filed herewith. Notice of this resolution shall be published on the 21st day of February and on the 29th day of February 1906, in the South Bend Daily Times. This Board will give A hearing on this resolution at its office in the City Hall on the 13th day of March 1906, at 7:15 P.M. A Bond or Bonds to be issued to the Contractos in payment for such work where the property owner signs waiver required as according to law. Adopted this 20th day of February 1906. Said improvement shall ,be known and designated as "THE WILLIAM STREET ASPHALT IMPROVEMENT" and shall be constructed according to the plans and specifications prepared by the City Civil Engineer, filed here- with. Notice of this resolution shall be published on the 21st day of February and on the 29th day of February 1906, in the South B(nd Daily Times. This Board will give a hearing on this resolution at its office in the City Hall on the 13th day of. Said improvement shall be known and designated as"THE JrFFERSON STREET ASPHALT PAVEMENT, GRADE, CURB & WALK IMPROVEMENT" and Shall be con- structed according to the plans and specifications prepared by the City Civil Engineer filed herewith. Notice of this resolution shall be published on the 21st day of February and on the 28th day of February 1906, in the South Bend Daily Times. This Board will give a hearing on this resolution at its office in the City Hall on the 13th day of March 19062 at 7*15 p. m. A Bond of Bonds to be issued to the Contractor in payment for such work where the property owner signs waiver required as according to law. Adopted this 20th.day of February 1906.
