2S9 September 12th. 1905. The Board met in regular session at 10 A. IVI. All members present. Bond of Staples & Ackerman filed and approved for the Sherman avenue Pipe Sewer. Contract signed for same. Petition filed for an Electric Lightvaat the corner of.Dubail avenue and Rush Street. Bids were opened and referred to the Engineer for tabulation'for Pipe Sewer on. High and Wenger street, Grade, Curb & Walk on Birdsell & Sancome, Grade, Curb & Walk on Haney avenue, Grade, Curb &-Walk on Lincoln street. Engineer reported grade on alleys between Hill and Emerick and LaSalle & Colfax avenues. Same were approved. Remonstrance filed against the quality of thw work done by Paul J. Haas on Kosciuszko and W. Fisher streets. Bond of L. 11. Webster filed and approved for the. Pipe Sewer on Allen,Vassar and Blaine avenues. Contract signed for same. Remonstrance filed against the Grade, Curb & Walk onHarger Court. IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 295. Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana: That an improvement be made of the kind size, location and terminal points as'follows: A Brick (block) pavement from Rex street to Leland avenue on Ashland avenue. Said improvement shall be known and designated as "THE ASHLAND AVENUE BRICK PAVEMENT" and shall be constructed according to the plans and specifications prepared by the City Civil Engineer, filed herewith. Notice of this resolution shall be published on thel4th day of September and on the 21st day of September 19052 in the South Bend Daily Times. This Board will give a hearing on this resolution at its office in the City Hall on the 26th day of September, 19052 at 7:15 P. M. A Bond or Bonds to be issued to the Contractor in payment of such work where the property owner signs the waiver required as according to law. Adopted this 12th, day of September 1905.
