All members present. <br />Hearing on Declaratory Resolution for Brick Pavement on the Alje� South of Washington <br />� street. - <br />Remonstralce sustained and resolution rescinded. <br />Hearing on Declaratory Resolution for Brick Pavement on the alley East of St. Joe <br />street from Jefferson street to Wayne, street <br />Capt Nicar and Mr. Papczynski voted to sustain the remonstrance and Mr. Mclnerny <br />voted in favor of the Resolution. Remonstrance sustained and Resolution rescinded. <br />Remonstrance filed against the Grade, Curb & Walk on Golden avenue from Portage <br />avenue to Leland avenue. <br />Hearing on Declaratory Resolution -for Grade, Curb & Talk on Golden avenue. from <br />Portage avenue to Leland avenue. Remonstrance sustained and resolution rescinded. <br />Bids received and referred to the Engineer for tabulation for Pipe Sewer on Allen, <br />Vassar & Blaine avenue, E. Wayne street and Sherman avenue. <br />Petition filed for Pipe Sewer and Brick -Pavement on Ford street from Scott street <br />to Chapin street. <br />Petition for Brick Pavement on Rex street.. Referred to the Engineer for <br />specifications. <br />Petition filed for Walks on S. Mich street from Clavert to Ewing avenue <br />Clerk was instructed to advertise for Bids for No.8'and No..9 Hose Houses, Bids to be <br />received up to 10 am. on the 26th day of September, 1905. <br />Communication received from the Keogen Construction Company, regarding the very poor <br />condition of the roadbed on Portage avenue. Referred to the Engineer. <br />Hearing given on the Oak street Pipe Sewer,Ded:laratory Resolution, from Cottage <br />Grove avenue to Scott street. And the Board being advised in the matter find that said <br />specifications be amended to read as follows,from Scott street to a point about ten feet <br />West of the first alley West of Scott street, and from Cottage Grove avenue to a point <br />about 10 :feet East of the first Alley east of Cottage Grove avenue. The Board further <br />finds that the benefits to the property affected and to the City of South Bend exceeds <br />the cost of said improvement and said resolution as amended should be and the same is <br />heeeby in .all things ratified, confirmed and approved. <br />
