Tuesd <br />The Board met in regular session at 10 A. M. All members present. <br />Petition filed to straighten Columbia street from Vistula avenue North. <br />Petition filed for an Electric light at the corner of Rem avenue and Euclid Ave. <br />Petition filed for establishment of grade .on alley West of Main street from <br />Marion street to Navarre street. <br />Petition filed for -Brick Pavement on alley North of Washington street from <br />Michigan street to Mill street. <br />Engineer reported grade on River avenue. Same was approved. <br />Hearing given -on Assessment Roll and Final Estimate for Hill street Brick <br />Pavement. Under Improvement Resolution No. 228. <br />No remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances were filed. The Board therefore <br />find that the property assessed in said rolls, as amended, filed August 2nd, 1905, is <br />benef itted in the amount of assessments as shown on said rolls, as amended and the Board <br />find that the assessment roll filed August 2nd, and the final estimate allowed August <br />2nd,1905, should be and the same is hereby_in all tkings ratified, confirmed and approved. <br />IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 295. <br />Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana: That an <br />improvement be made of the kind, size, location and terminal points as follows: A Brick <br />(block) pavement on '.Putt street from Lafayette street to the tracks of the Chicago & South <br />Bend R. R. crossing; said street. Said improvement shall be known and designated as <br />THE TUTT STREET BRICK PAVEMENT and shall be constructed according to the plans and speci- <br />fications prepard by the City Civil Engineer, filed herewith. Notice of this resolution <br />shall be published on the 30th day of August and on the 6th day,of September, 1905, <br />in the ,South Bend Daily Times. This Board will give a hearing on this resolution at its <br />office in the City Hall on the 12th day of September, 1905, at 7:15 P. M. . <br />A Bond or Bonds to be issued to the -Contractor in payment for such work where the <br />property owners'sign the waiver required as according to law. <br />Adopted this 29th day of August 1905. <br />BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS. <br />IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 256.. <br />Resolved by the Board of Puflic Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana: That an <br />improvement be made of the kind, size, location and terminal points_ as follows: A Brick <br />(block) pavement on the alley adjacent No. 2 Hose House f-om Sample street to Tutt street. <br />Said improvement shall be -known and designated as the NO. 2 HOSE HOUSE ALLEY BRICK <br />PAVEMENT" and shall be constructed according to the plans and specifications prepared <br />by the City Civil Engineer, filed herewith. Notice of this resolution shall bepublished. <br />on the 20th day of August and on.the 6th day of September, 1905, in the South Bend Daily <br />Times. This Board will,give a hearing on this resolution at its office in theCity Hall <br />on the 12th day of September, 1905, at 7:16 P. M- <br />A Bond or Bonds to be issued to the Contractor in payment for such work where the <br />property owners sign the waiver required as aecoRding to law. <br />Adopted. this 29th day of august, 1905. <br />
