Tuesd The Board met in regular session at 10 A. M. All members present. Petition filed to straighten Columbia street from Vistula avenue North. Petition filed for an Electric light at the corner of Rem avenue and Euclid Ave. Petition filed for establishment of grade .on alley West of Main street from Marion street to Navarre street. Petition filed for -Brick Pavement on alley North of Washington street from Michigan street to Mill street. Engineer reported grade on River avenue. Same was approved. Hearing given -on Assessment Roll and Final Estimate for Hill street Brick Pavement. Under Improvement Resolution No. 228. No remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances were filed. The Board therefore find that the property assessed in said rolls, as amended, filed August 2nd, 1905, is benef itted in the amount of assessments as shown on said rolls, as amended and the Board find that the assessment roll filed August 2nd, and the final estimate allowed August 2nd,1905, should be and the same is hereby_in all tkings ratified, confirmed and approved. IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 295. Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana: That an improvement be made of the kind, size, location and terminal points as follows: A Brick (block) pavement on '.Putt street from Lafayette street to the tracks of the Chicago & South Bend R. R. crossing; said street. Said improvement shall be known and designated as THE TUTT STREET BRICK PAVEMENT and shall be constructed according to the plans and speci- fications prepard by the City Civil Engineer, filed herewith. Notice of this resolution shall be published on the 30th day of August and on the 6th day,of September, 1905, in the ,South Bend Daily Times. This Board will give a hearing on this resolution at its office in the City Hall on the 12th day of September, 1905, at 7:15 P. M. . A Bond or Bonds to be issued to the -Contractor in payment for such work where the property owners'sign the waiver required as according to law. Adopted this 29th day of August 1905. Resolved by the Board of Puflic Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana: That an improvement be made of the kind, size, location and terminal points_ as follows: A Brick (block) pavement on the alley adjacent No. 2 Hose House f-om Sample street to Tutt street. Said improvement shall be -known and designated as the NO. 2 HOSE HOUSE ALLEY BRICK PAVEMENT" and shall be constructed according to the plans and specifications prepared by the City Civil Engineer, filed herewith. Notice of this resolution shall bepublished. on the 20th day of August and on.the 6th day of September, 1905, in the South Bend Daily Times. This Board will,give a hearing on this resolution at its office in theCity Hall on the 12th day of September, 1905, at 7:16 P. M- A Bond or Bonds to be issued to the Contractor in payment for such work where the property owners sign the waiver required as aecoRding to law. Adopted. this 29th day of august, 1905.
