<br /> <br /> <br />MDA Proposal: «ProjectNumber» <br /> <br />PROPOSAL <br />M21-0200 – MLK, JR. COMMUNITY CENTER <br />PRELIMINARY D i S i <br />MDA PROPOSAL <br />PHASE 1: PRE‐DESIGN/PROGRAMMING COMPENSATION ( <br />We are anticipating current regional construction costs and a total development cost preliminary project budget <br />estimated at $11M (Eleven Million Dollars). This is preliminarily consistent with the anticipated scale and complexity <br />of a similar new mixed‐use sports and recreation development projects. We propose to complete the work outlined <br />for a Lump Sum fee of $178,200.00. Full design services fees shall be submitted separately following this initial <br />engagement phase. <br />All fee amounts are progressively billed against each phase of the project. Proposed fees described in herewith shall <br />be valid for not more than 90 days from the date of this document unless an agreement is reached. <br />Fees are based on the scope and detail of the work to be prepared by the Architect as outlined in this proposal will be <br />progressively billed. Once agreed upon the fees may be modified in writing upon changes in scope and become a part <br />of this proposal. Compensation for Additional Services will be performed as indicated in “Schedule B". <br />Reimbursable expenses shall be actual out–of–pocket expenses incurred by The Architect in the interest of the <br />project. For Reimbursable Expenses, a multiple of one point one five (1.15) times the expense shall be applied. Further <br />detail of reimbursable expenses are outlined the “Schedule B” of this proposal. REIMBURSABLE EXPENSES SHALL BE <br />PRE‐AUTJHORIZED BY THE OWNER PRIOR TO INCURRING. <br /> <br />PHASE 2: DETAILED DESIGN COMPENSATION <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />ADDITIONAL SERVICES AND FEES: <br />The phase fees outlined in the table above are based on the scope and detail of the work to be prepared by the <br />Architect as outlined in this proposal. Please reference “Schedule B” of this proposal for a description and detail of <br />any additional fees that may be associated with the execution of the project. <br /> <br />ASSUMPTIONS: <br />Execution and signing of this proposal shall authorize the design process to begin.
