must have a negative drug test before resuming performance of <br />his/her job duties. <br />Ibis test may not be taken until the Employee Assistance <br />Program Counselor has set a date for the test. The specimen for <br />all Return To Duty Tests shall be given pursuant to observed <br />collection protocol and procedures. After the BCRC has <br />scheduled the observed test, the obligation to inform the <br />collection site of the requirement for an observed test shall lie <br />solely with the Employee. <br />OBSERVED FOLLOW-UP TESTING <br />Observed Follow -Up Testing for drugs and/or alcohol is a <br />requirement in order for a returning Employee to stay in <br />compliance with the BCRC Program. Testing shall be determined <br />by the Employee Assistance Program Counselor, and will be <br />implemented and monitored by the TPA (BCRC) when the <br />Employee returns to work. Observed Follow -Up Tests must be <br />taken within forty-eight (48) hours from the time when the TPA <br />(BCRC) attempts to contact or contacts the Employee, or the <br />Employee will be considered non-compliant, made "N/A", and <br />referred back to the EAP for further evaluation. <br />A New Employee/Applicant/Traveler whose initial drug or <br />alcohol test is confirmed as a Positive Test shall pay all costs <br />for such Follow -Up Testing required by the EAP and any <br />subsequent testing required by the EAP. <br />'Ihe specimen for all Follow -Up Testing shall be given pursuant <br />to observed collection protocol and procedures. After the BCRC <br />has scheduled the observed test, the obligation to inform the <br />collection site of the requirement for an observed test shall lie <br />solely with the Employee. <br />M <br />
