White at 6:45 p.m. in the Council Informal Meeting Room. <br /> The following Councilmembers were in attendance: <br /> Charlotte Pfeifer 2'District <br /> Roland Kelly 3rd District <br /> Karl King 4th District Chairperson, Committee of the Whole <br /> David Varner 5th District <br /> Ervin Kuspa 6th District <br /> Sean Coleman At-Large Vice-President <br /> Al `Buddy"Kirsits At-Large <br /> Karen L. White At-Large President <br /> The following Councilmember was absent: <br /> James Aranowski 1St District <br /> Also present were: <br /> Kathleen Cekanski-Farrand Council Attorney <br /> Loretta J. Duda City Clerk <br /> Sandra M. Parmerlee Chief Deputy City Clerk <br /> Janice I. Talboom Deputy City Clerk <br /> Terry Bland South Bend Tribune <br /> Council President White reviewed the Council agenda noting the following information: <br /> 1. Under"Special Business," President White will announce that the swearing in of <br /> individuals to the Youth Advisory Council will take place on June 23,2003 and that <br /> the deadline for the submission of applications for the Youth Advisory Council has <br /> been extended to June 9, 2003. <br /> 2. Under "Special Business," President White will ask Councilmember King to <br /> introduce Mr. Mike Beitzinger from the Department of Community and Economic <br /> Development who will provide a power point presentation of the Annual Report on <br /> Tax Abatements for 2002. <br /> -1- <br />
