SOUTH BEND COMMON COUNCIL APRIL 14, 2003 <br /> INFORMAL MEETING <br /> The April 14, 2003 Informal Meeting of the South Bend Common Council was called to order by <br /> Council President Karen L. White at 6:45 p.m. in the Council Informal Meeting Room. <br /> The following Councilmembers were in attendance: <br /> James Aranowski 1St District <br /> Charlotte Pfeifer 2nd District <br /> Roland Kelly 3rd District <br /> Karl King 4t'District Chairperson, Committee of the Whole <br /> David Varner 5th District <br /> Sean Coleman At-Large Vice-President <br /> Al "Buddy"Kirsits At-Large <br /> Karen L. White At-Large President <br /> The following Councilmember was absent: <br /> Ervin Kuspa 6th District <br /> Also present were: <br /> Kathleen Cekanski-Farrand Council Attorney <br /> Loretta J. Duda City Clerk <br /> Sandra M. Parmerlee Chief Deputy City Clerk <br /> Janice I. Talboom Deputy City Clerk <br /> Council President White reviewed the Council agenda noting the following information: <br /> 1. Under"Special Business" a motion needs to be made to move the second meeting <br /> in May to Tuesday, May 27, 2003 due to the Memorial Day holiday. <br /> 2. Bill No. 23-03 - A motion is needed to continue this bill until the May 27, 2003 <br /> meeting and to send it to the Health and Public Safety Committee. <br /> 3. Bill No. 24-03 -After the Public Hearing, a short recess will be needed in order for <br /> high school principals to pick up their packets from the City Clerk. <br /> 4. Bill No. 03-37 -A motion is needed to accept the substitute version of this bill. <br />
