Larry Magliozzi of the Division of Community Development then made a presentation on Bill No. 03-108 and Substitute Bill No. 73-03. Mr. Magliozzi stated that the proposed fiscal plan notes that the proposed annexation is 100% voluntary and involves 1.62 acres. The city has purchased the land for further development. Following discussion, Council Member Coleman made a motion, seconded by Council Member Kelly that Bill No. 03-108 and Substitute Bill No. 73-03 both be recommended favorably to Council. The motion passed. Council Member Kuspa then read into the record a copy of a letter dated September 29, 2003 from Patrick S. Brown, & President of SiteScapes, Inc, requesting that the special al e x ce tion request set forth in Bill No. 03-107 for the property located at 3425 Lincoln Way West on behalf of Best Beef, Inc., be continued until the November 10, 2003 meeting. Council Member Coleman made a motion, seconded by Dr. Varner that Bill No. 03-107 be continued to the meeting of November 10, 2003, at the request of the petitioner. The motion passed. There was no miscellaneous business.
