Zoning and Annexation Committee <br /> August 26,2002 <br /> Page 2 <br /> There being no further business to come before the Committee, Council Member White adjourned <br /> the meeting at 4:08 p.m. Shortly after this action, the petitioner for Bill No. 57-02, Mr. Steve <br /> Cooreman arrived for the meeting. Council Member White then reconvened the Committee <br /> meeting to permit Mr. Cooreman to address the Committee. Council Member Coleman noted that <br /> the Committee had recommended the Bill favorably to Council, and that Mr. Coorman's remarks <br /> would be permitted to provide any additional information. <br /> Mr. Steve Cooreman, President of Cooreman Real Estate Group, Inc. addressed the Committee. <br /> He noted that this is a voluntary annexation where he intends to develop the "Village at Lake <br /> Blackthorne". He noted that he would be requesting consideration for residential tax abatement at a <br /> later time for the project. <br /> Council Member White thanked Mr. Cooreman for his remarks, and then adjourned the meeting at <br /> 4:10 p.m. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> Council Member Karen L.
