• Inclement Weather Plan - This plan should include, but is not limited to: o Safety measures that will be taken in the event of a tornado warning, tornado watch, thunderstorm, and extreme temperatures. For the Cleanup plan, we will have additional trash barrels/boxes placed along Western & a trash truck will be parked on a side street, as in past years, for disposal both during & post -event. Volunteers & staff will be sure that all trash is placed in dumpsters and the area is clear after the event. For Inclement Weather Plan, we plan to monitor the forecast closely prior to our event and during the event. If the weather becomes threatening prior to the event, we will monitor very closely and cancel if needed. If unforeseen threatening weather occurs during the event, we will dismiss vendors and staff early and encourage the public to leave the festival and/or take cover in the nearest indoor location. • Proposed Lost and Found Plan - This plan should include, but is not limited to: o A description of the use of signage, announcements on public address systems or pre -event handouts. Lost items will be taken to the Westside South Bend Headquarters at 2910 Western Ave. Section H - Site Plan / Route Man For parades, races and other processional events: Are you selecting one of South Bend Police Department's (SBPD) pre -approved race routes? ❑ Yes ❑ No You must select from SBPD's pre -approved race routes (see links on application site) or provide sufficient evidence of event participation if the applicant is proposing a different route through South Bend. If your event will not be using a pre -approved race route, the proposed event map should include a route plan clearly identifying the timing and locations of proposed street closures, the direction of parade movement, and the locations where traffic security officers will be necessary. If your event will not be using a pre -approved race route, please explain: This event is not a parade or race but I've attached the proposed road closure map to the email for reference.
