LA Tuesday April 18th, 1905. TUESDAY EVENING SPECIAL SESSION AT 7:15 P. M. APRIL 19TH,.1905. The Board met in Special session at 7:15 P. M. All members present. Hearing given on Declaretory Resolutions for the following street improvements, to -wit; Pipe Sewer on Fellows street from center of Monroe street to the N. W. Corner of Lot 1 River Side Terrace, Pipe Sewer on Diamond avenue from Van Buren street to S. W. Corner of lot 25 in A. H. Cushings addition, Pipe Sewer on Howard street from St. Joseph River to St. Louis street, Walks on Johnson street from Linden avenue to Bertrand street, Grade, Curb &f,"Dbnald street from Main street to Michigan street, walks on Florence street from Wilber street to Johnson street, Walks & Curbs on Miner street from Eddy street to Arthur street, Grade, Curb & Walk on Witwer avenue from Dayton street to alley South of Calvert street, Asphalt Pavement on Main .;.street from Jefferson to Wayne street, Jefferson street from Lafayette street to Michigan street. All under Improvement Resolutions Nos. 249, 250, 251, 2522 2J31 2542 2559 256 & 257 respectively. Engineer filed his estimated cost of the improvements as follows; - Fellows street sewer 700.00 Diamond avenue sewer 1,000.00 Howard street Sewer 6,300.00 Johnson street Walk 900.00 Donald street Curb &' Grade 750.00 Florence street walk - 1,200.00 Miner street Walk &_ Curb 900.00 Witwer avenue Walk & Curb 12700.00 Main street Asphalt 122500.00 Jefferson street Asphalt 9,500.00 Owing to a remonstrance being filed aginst the Howard street Sewer the hearing was continued until Saturday April, 22., at 10 A. M. Hearing on Donald street held over until Saturday April 22, at 10 A. M. Main & Jefferson street Asphalt hearing held over until Saturday April 22, at 10 A. M. In all other of the above matters no remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances were filed. The Board therefore find in each and every case in said improvements that the benefits to the property and to the City of South Bend are equal to the estimated cost of the said improvements and the same are hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and Approved. Be it resolved that notices be published in the South Bend Daily Times and the South Bend Daily Tribune, on the 20th day of April and on the 27th day of April, 19057 to the effect that thi^ Roard will received bids for said improvements up to 10 A. 14. on the 2nd day of May, 1905.
