The Board met in regular session at 10 A. ICI. All members present. Bond of Hoban & Roach filed and approved for the N. Scott street Brick Pavement. Contract signed for same. Engineer reported grade on Portage avenue. Same was approved. Application filed by J. I. Lennes for position as Inspector on Street improver.: ments for the City. Petition filed for Grade, Curb & Walk on Michigan avenue from Wilber street to Olive street. Proposition of Theresa Hertram. To the City of South Bend, Frank H. Dunnahoo, City Attorney. We hereby submit the following proposition to. compromise and setel the present suit of Theresa Hertram VS. the City of South Bend, Indiana, now pending in the St. Joseph Circuit Court: We will accept the sum of Seven Hundred seventy-five ($775.00, Dolla_s in full settlement of all claims for all damages and property involved in said suit, and upon payment of said money, agree to dismiss at the City!s cost the Appeal taken by the said Theresa Hertram from the award of the Board of Public Works and further agree to remove so much of said building as was taken by the condemn- ation of the Board of Public Works from the said premises not later than the lst day of June, 1905. 'For a specific description of the property in controversy and owned by the undersigned, and also for specific description of that portion of the undersigned's property taken and condemned by said proceedings, the undersigned hereby refers to the complaint filed in said cause, which descriptions are hereby made a part hereof.
