59 <br />Saturday September 24th. 1904. <br />The Board met in regular session at 10 A. M. All members present. <br />Engineer repprted grade on Eddy street from South Bend Avenue to Eddy street <br />Same was approved. <br />Plat of the South West addition filed and approved. <br />The following contracts were awarded for the following improvements; -- <br />Michigan avenue grading.................Joe Swiatowy. <br />Florence avenue Grade & Curb ............ M. S. Rogers. <br />IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION. NO. 224. <br />Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana. That an <br />improvement be made fof the kind, size, location and terminal pointszas follows: Pipe Sewe <br />on Robertson strepV from Prairie avenue to the alley east of Chapin street. Said improve- <br />ment shall be knov!ft and designated as the ROBERTSON STREET PIPE SEWER and shall be <br />constructed according to the plans and specifications prepared by the City Civil <br />Engineer, filed herewith. Notice of this resolution for the execution of the above work <br />shall be published on the 26 day of September and on the 3rd day of October 1904, in the <br />South Bend Daily Times and the South Bend Daily Tribune. This Board will give a hearing <br />on this resolution at its office in the City Hall on the llth day of October 1904, <br />at 7:15 p. m. <br />Adopted this 24th day of September 1904. <br />BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS. <br />IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 225. <br />Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana. That an <br />improvement be made of the kind, size, location and terminal points as follows: Pipe <br />Sewer on Woodward avenue from Hudson'avenue to California avenue and DeMaude avenue from <br />Woodward avenue to California avenue. Said improvement shall be known and designated <br />as the WOODWARD AVENUE AND DEMAUDE AVENUE PIPE SEWER.and shall be constructed according <br />to the plans and specifications prepared by the City Civil Engineer, filed herewith. <br />Notice of this resolution for the execution of the above work shall be published on the <br />26th day of September and on the 3rr day of October 1904, in the South Bend Daily Times <br />and the South Bend Daily Tribune.
