26 Tue s day August 9t h. 1904. The Board met in regular session at 10 A. M. All menbers preseNt. Bond of L. H. Webster on Marietta &Bronson street pipe sewer, Osborne street Pipe LSewer and B irdsell street Pipe Sewer approved and contracts signed for same. Petition filed for Grade, Curb & Walk on Chapin street from Calvert street to Ewing avenue. Referred to engineer for specifications. wal Pre s SPECIAL MEETING TUESDAY EVENING AUGUST 9TH. 1904 at 7.15 P. M. The Board met in Special Session at 7:15 P. 14. All menbers present. Hearing given on assessment rolls and final estimates for the following improvements; -Grade Curb & Walk on Sherman avenue fron N. Line of Cushing Addition to Portage,avenue. Cement walks on Notre Dame street from Jefferson street to Divis- ion street under improvement resolutions nos. 175, 184 respectively. No remonstrances were filed and no remonstrators appeared the board find that the. property assesed is benefitted to the amount of assessment in said roll, andthe Board accordingly find that the assessment roll filed July 26th, 1904 and the final estimate allowed July 26th, 1904, should be and the same is hereby in all things ratified confirmed and approved. Hearing on Istanfield street G rade, Curb & Walk from Corby street to Howard street was held over to Saturday 1-Ugust 13th at 10 a. m. Hearing given on the following Declaratory Resolutions for the following improvements: Cushing Addition Pipe Sewer, Francis street Walks & Curb, Napier street Pipe Sewer, Harris street Curbs, Sixth street Grade, Curb & Walk, N. Jackson streets Walks, S. Jackson street Grae, Curb & Walk, Pulaski street Grade, Curb & Walk, Blaine avenue Grade, Curb & Walk. All under improvement resolutions No. 198, 2022 207, 2002 2052 201, 2049 203, 206 respectively. Engineer filed his estimated cost of the improvements as follows; - Cushing Addition Pipe Sewer. .......$12,956.00 Francis street Walks & Curbs............ 358.40 Napier street Pipe Sewer ............... 714.00 Harris street Curbs..... ................ 576.00 Sixth street Grade, Curb & Walk..: ..... 1,109.40 N. Jackson street Walks..........: 370.40 S. Jackson street Grade, Curb & Walk... 1, 739.80 Pulaski street Grade,Curb & Walk ....... 12556.00 Blaine avenue ' Grade, Curb & Walk....... 587.44 In the above matter no remonstrators appeare d and no remonstrances were filed TN.e Board therefore find in each and every case in said improvements that the benefits -tao the property and to the City of South Bend are equal to the estimated cost of the improvement and tiat said declaratory resolutions are hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and approved. Hearing on Lawrence street Grade, Cure_ & Walk and grablel roadway from Corby street to Napoleon street under improvement resolution No. 199 was held over until Saturday at 10 a. m. August 13th, 1904. President.
