Kit The Board of Public Works met in regular session at 10 A. M. Cat. Nicar absent. Petition filed for clmnging of a private alley to a p-Lblie alley described as follows;. 10 ft alley commencing on Napier street about 110 feet West of S. Laurel street running S. to the intersection of Public alley running E. & W. between Napier street and Division street. I. I. & I. Ry Co -notified to place an all night lamp at the. Division street crossing Engineer filed assessment rolls and final estimates or the followitn� iMpro -at ments to -wit; Pipe Sewer on Osborne street, from Vistula avenue en o . Grade,, < Curb & Walk on Leland avenue from lst angle in Leland ave to Hudson avenue, Cement walk on E. Howard street from Leeper avenue to Lawrence street, Grade, Curb & Walk'on S. Main street from Indiana 'avenue to Ewing avenue all under Improver.,ent resolutions Nos. 183, 17 ,177 respectively. Resolved that notices as 'to the amount of assessments be published Cor six consecutive days in the South Bend Daily Times and the South Bend Daily Tribune commencing on the 29th day of 'August 1904, stating that this Board will, give a -hearing on the amount of such assessments at its office in the City Hall on the 6th day of September 1904, at 7:15 P. M. " Resolved further, that the entire work under 'the above contract, be accepted and app- roved and the final estimate thereon allowed. Notice of this resolution s.ha;l be published on the 29th day of August 1904, in the South Bend Daily Times and the South Bend Daily Tribune, - stating that this Board will give a hearing upon the acceptance of such work at its office in the City Hall on the 6th day of Septenber 1904 at 7:15 P.M. CONDEMNATION RESOLUTION. no. 16. Resolved by the Board of Pub lie Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana: That the following described property -be appropriated for the use of said city: Begin twenty two -and 1-2 (22 1-2) feet west o-f the intersection of the South line of Jefferson street and the east line of Cherry street, thence west twenty-two and 1-2 (22 1-2 Peet, thence south to the north line of the Lake Shore & Michigan Sout Vern Railroad s Right of Way; thence South-easterly with the North line. of right of way of said L. S. & M. S. R. R. to a point South of begining, thence North to place of ber-rining. The following described property maybe injuriously or beneficially affectedby such appropriation.
