NMI <br />The Board met in regular session at 10 A. M. Capt . Nicar ab sent . <br />First hearing on Vacation resolution No. 32 adopted on the 5th day of August, <br />1904 vacating a part of Beyrl street described as follows; Beryl street from Leer <br />street to Clyde street. <br />No remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances were filed the Board there Pare <br />declare the above property vacated. <br />Hearing given: on the Grade, Curb & Gravel improvement on Lawrence street under <br />improvement resolution No. 199. No remonstrators appeared and no new remonstrances <br />were Filed. The Board find that the specifications for this improvement shouldbe <br />amended b y om .tLing the construction of cement walks on the East side of Lawrence <br />street North of Howard street, and on the West side of Lawrence street North of <br />St. Vincent street, and the Board find that the benefits to the property affected <br />and to the city of south Bend are equal to the cost of said improvement and that <br />said resolution as amended herein should be and the same is hereby confirmed., <br />Resolved that notice of proposals forbids for the construction of the <br />improvement under resolution No. 199 as amended b e published in the South B end Daily <br />Times and the South Bend Daily Tribune on the 22"-day of August and on the 29th day <br />of August 1204, and that the bids be received up to 10 A. M. on the 2nd day of <br />September, 1904. <br />die <br />
