W Tuesday August 16th, 1904. The Board met in regular session at 10 A. M. Mr. Nicar Absent. B and of . Joe Swiatowy filed and approved on B lain avenue Grade, Curb & Wal k. Contract Signed with Joe Swiatowy " " of " ►i " N Bond of Joe Swiatowy filed and approved on Sixt H street Grade, Curb & Walk. Contract signed with Joe Swiatowy for " " " to " " Bond of Henri DeVos & Co filed and approved on Napier street Pipe Sewer. Contract signed with Henri* DeVos & Co.:_- on Napier street Pipe Seger. Engineer reported grade on Carlisle street. Same was approved. Engineer filed assessment roll and final estimate for the following improvement to -wit: E. Madison. -,,street Trunk Sewer under improvement -resolution No. 182. Resolved that notices 'as to the amount of assessments be published for six consecutive days in the South Bend Daily Times and the SouthBend Daily Tribune comnencfng on the 16th day of August 1904, stating that this Board will give a hearing on the amount of such assessments at its office in the City Hall on the 23rd day of August 1904 at 7:15 P M. Resolved further, that the entire work under thm eb ove contract be accepted and approved and the final estimate thereon allowed. Notice of this resolution shall be pub 1 is hed on the 16th dad* of August _1904, in the South -Tend Daily Times and the South Bend Daily Tribune, stating that this Board will. give a hearing upon the acceptance of such work at its office in the City Hall on the 23rd day of August 1904 at 7:16 P. M. Hearing given on assessment roll and final estimate for Grade, Curb & Walk on Stanfield street under Improvement Resolution No 176. No remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances were filed. The Board find that the property assessed in said roll filed July 26th 1904 is benefitted in the amount of assessments as shown on said roll and the Board of Public Works find that the assessment rolls filed July 26th 1904 and the Final:estimate allowdd July 26th 1904 should be and the same are hereby in all things ratified confirmed and approved. 11 Pre b X UV.0 , .
