For Cleveland -Cliffs Tek and Cleveland -Cliffs Kote,
the limits are based on their categorical standards and our own local limits assessment, and the
most stringent limits are applied; we therefore had a couple of limits change according to those
regulations. Mr. Gilot asked specifically what local limits are more stringent than the already
stringent federal limits. Ms. Shane responded Nickel, based on how much nickel we have to
allocate to local industries based on pounds of pollutant. She added that Chromium and Zinc
were also more stringent local limits.
There being no further discussion, upon a motion made by Mr. Molnar, seconded by Mr. Gathers
and carried by roll call, the renewal of the permit was approved.
Pioneer Metal Finishing LLC, 2424 Foundation Dr.
