CITY OF SOUTH BEND HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION <br />After due consideration, the following action was taken - <br />January 18, 2021 meeting minutes are tabled. <br />b. STAFF REPORTS <br />i. Administrative Approvals <br />c. COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />i. Disposition of Historic Preservation Assets <br />After due consideration, no action was taken. <br />ii. Standards Update <br />After due consideration, no action was taken. <br />iii. Historic Districts <br />1. Riverside Drive Lighting <br />Sarah Andrews presented an update and proposed resolution from the <br />Historic Districts Committee regarding the potential Street light replacement <br />options for replacement of the historic street lights. <br />iv. Local Landmarks <br />1. Ridgedale/Twyckenham Hills Gates <br />Elicia Feasel presented information that Sarah Andrews had accumulated <br />regarding the entrance gates. Sarah Andrews indicated that her and her <br />family have cared for and maintained the gates, and that they have been <br />damaged by automobiles. <br />VI. OLD BUSINESS <br />a. Sarah Andrews asked for an update on the Olivet National Register Nomination. Elicia <br />Feasel explained that the mayor's office has submitted the signed document to the state <br />supporting the nomination. <br />b. Joan Downs-Krostenko asked about the West Navarre window project. No change was <br />reported. <br />c. Adam Toering conveyed that Olivet African Methodist Episcopal Church received additional <br />funding from Indiana Landmarks to save and presence the church. <br />VII. NEW BUSINESS <br />VIII. ANNOUNCEMENTS AND MISCELLANEOUS MATTERS <br />a. Indiana Landmarks will be hosting a "9 Nuggets of Historic Preservation Commissions" on <br />March 4th on Zoom. <br />b. Eric Stalheim called attention to the scenic overlook at Leeper Park was not built according <br />to the plans submitted to and approved by the Commission. It is a different shape. <br />IX.
