., .
APPENDIX J
5/16/88
Report from David Barncord
landscape plan
314 W. LaSalle
1. Junipers and general landscaping plan are appropriate.
2. The tree adjacent to the building is a sugar maple and
in good condition.
3. The mulberry tree that was removed can be replaced with
a non —fruiting weeping mulberry variety. For historical
accuracy this is an appropriate variety that is still
available today. It is a slow growth variety. A 6 foot
tree will cost approximately $200 including
installation.
4. A bradford pear is also appropriate. An 8 foot variety
will cost approximately $230. This has moderate to fast
growth.
5. A Calary pear is also appropriate. This is a "clean
tree", upright in nature. This tree is considered to be
a'large ornamental or a small shade tree reaching a
height of 30 feet. This has moderate to fast growth.
