11) 315 W. North Shore - WNS <br />Owner requested approval to construct a 12 x 12 addition on <br />west side (see Staff Report - Appendix k). Mrs. Choitz mowed <br />to approve with the stipulations: 1) that more appropriate <br />roofing materials be investigated as to appropriateness and <br />price; 2) that the hip roof more closely matches that of the <br />front hip roof; 3) that the use of brick should be minimized <br />because of match problems; 4) that appropriate landscaping i <br />located around addition; Mr. Newburn seconded; Mr. Herendeen <br />abstained; motion passed. <br />Mr. Herendeen moved to change the order of the agenda to accommodate the <br />visitors; Mr. Newburn seconded; motion passed. <br />b. Budget & Finance <br />In lieu of discussion, a report will be sent. <br />C. Historic Districts <br />In lieu of discussion, reports will be sent regarding items. c-1 <br />and c-2. <br />d. Historic Landmarks <br />1) 929 E. Milton - 2nd Reading <br />Mr. Newburn moved to approve unanimous decision from the April <br />18, 1988 meeting and to forward the ordinance to the Common <br />Council with a favorable recommendation; Mrs. Petr•ass <br />seconded; motion passed. <br />2) 19109 Johnson Rd. - LL <br />Mr. Nimtz moved to continue to the next meeting due to lack of <br />presence of petitioner; Mr. Newburn seconded; motion passed. <br />3) 12594 S.R. 23 - LL - 2nd Reading <br />Mr. Herendeen moved to approve unanimous decision of April 18, <br />1988 meeting for request to remove Lot 3 from landmark <br />designation; Mr. Newburn seconded; motion passed. <br />Owner requested approval to amend legal description to delete <br />part of Lot 2 from landmark status. Mr. Hayes moved to amend <br />the legal description to delete part of Lot 2 from landmark <br />status and to modify the request to include a 13' x 185' <br />portion east of the barn. This would create a 25' buffer zone <br />on the east side of the barn; Mr. Nimtz seconded; Mrs. Choitz <br />against; Mr. Herendeen and Mr. Oxian abstained. <br />This will create a 25' buffer zone. <br />May 16, 1968 PACE 4 <br />
