<br /> <br />X.Comments by the Zoo Director <br /> <br /> <br />1.Mr. DeRosa introduced Mr. Thomas Landgrebe. Mr. Landgrebe is the new Zoo <br />Maintenance Foreman. <br /> <br />2.The Zoo will open March 28. <br /> <br />3.During the Zoo’s Winter Days, they had 728 visitors. <br /> <br /> <br />XI.Comments by Maintenance Superintendent <br /> <br /> <br />1.Mr. Mike Dyszkiewicz informed the Board that leaf pick up is underway. <br /> <br />2.The Centralized Mowing Program is gearing up for lot cleaning and mowing for Code <br />Enforcement and Economic Development. <br /> <br />3.The Trades crew is working on the new dugouts at Belleville. <br /> <br />4.The Leeper tennis court lights are going to be installed. The court colorization will take <br />place in May. <br /> <br />5.Mr. Dyszkiewicz recommended that the Board award the Leeper Roof project to Midland <br />Engineering for the amount of $47,262. <br />Mr. Goodrich made a motion to award the Leeper roof project to Midland Engineering for <br />the amount of $47,262. Dr. Kelly seconded the motion and it was passed. <br /> <br />Ms Harriman made a recommendation to award the Howard Park Lighting project to <br />Trans Tech Electric for $69,785. <br />Dr. Kelly made a motion to award the bid for the Howard Park lighting project to Trans <br />Tech Electric for the amount of $69,785. Mr. Mullins seconded the motion and it was <br />passed. <br /> <br /> <br />XII.Comments by the Development Director <br /> <br /> <br />1.Mr. Payton reported that the Summer Activity Guide will be out in mid April. <br /> <br />2.The annual Camp Fair will be held on March 29 at the O’Brien Center. Thirty vendors <br /> <br />will be in attendance. <br /> <br />3.Golf ads will be placed in all the high school sports calendars. <br /> <br />4.Sponsorships are being sought for the East Race Concerts. <br /> <br /> <br />XIII.There being no more business to come before the Board the meeting adjourned at <br />5:20 p.m. <br /> <br />The next regular meeting will be held April 21, 2008 at 4:00 p.m. in the Boardroom of the <br />O’Brien Administration Center. <br /> <br /> - - 5 - - <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
