ACTIVITY QTY RATE AMOUNT <br />prepared for variation in color and texture. <br />Laws Tru Stone LLC hereby proposes to furnish labor <br />and materials in a workmanlike manner (according to <br />standard practices) until completion. <br />Changes to the scope of work requested by purchaser <br />must be estimated, and additional agreement must be <br />signed before the additional work may commence. <br />Estimate (figures/totals) is approximated and subject to <br />change after 10 days. One year warranty on labor. <br />Laws Tru Stone strives to offer the best materials <br />available. However, due to the nature of the restoration <br />process, brick/joint sizes, textures, and color may <br />differentiate from the existing structure’s material. Any <br />concerns must be addressed before any work begins. <br />Efflorescence is a sodium deposit on surfaces of <br />masonry, stucco or concrete. It is whitish in appearance, <br />and can be difficult to remove depending on the source <br />and severity of the “stain”. Efflorescence can often but <br />not always be removed from masonry by applying <br />solvents. However, if the source of the sodium is not <br />addressed efflorescence may reappear. Sources may <br />include but are not limited to composition of the structure, <br />ground water, and road salt. <br />Additionally, the estimation may change due to a <br />deviation in the scope of work after the job has <br />commenced. Law’s Tru Stone will communicate any <br />additional costs promptly. Law’s Tru Stone is not <br />responsible for compensating additional costs accrued <br />by additional work. Please be advised that any estimate <br />totaling over $5,000.00 may be subject to a 20% deposit <br />at time of scheduling. <br />LTS Contract cont. <br />Upon the acceptance and signing of this proposal by the <br />purchaser this estimate becomes a binding legal contract <br />between the seller and the purchaser, whose signatures <br />appear below and is contingent upon delays due to <br />weather, acts of God and/or other cases beyond the <br />control of the seller. Any and all permits required by <br />local, state or federal governments pertaining to masonry <br />work rendered are the sole and complete responsibility of <br />the purchaser. <br />In the case of suspending masonry installation at any <br />time by the request of the purchaser to the seller, any <br />and all ensuing expense thereof, including the time and <br />travel of the seller and/or their employees and <br />independent contractors to said job site to complete said <br />project, it is expressly agreed that all expenses shall be <br />assumed and paid by the purchaser hereof. <br />For any/all projects relating to excavation, it is imperative <br />that all utility lines be located. All lines need to be flagged <br />and painted; this protects seller’s installers from injury <br />and harm. It also protects purchaser’s investments from <br />liability issues with regard to property damage. The <br />locates usually include electric lines, gas lines, city <br />1
