some things differently, yes, but we have learned some things. When we come back in February, <br />we will be in a much better position. <br />Sarah Galbenski- Notre Dame Student Government, shared they are in their last week of classes. <br />The primary concern is that all students would get through the last week safely. Exit testing will <br />start this Thursday because students need to leave twenty-four (24) hours after their last final. <br />There was a great atmosphere on campus after the Clemson game. It was a bit concerning as a <br />super spreader event, but hopefully, that would be mitigated after exit testing this coming week. <br />The win was a morale boost as all the students leave for a restorative break. <br />Rachel Ingal- Notre Dame- shared they hope the students are staying focused on their health in <br />this last week. We don't want to transmit this virus to other communities. We are on the last stretch <br />and want everyone to make it home safely. <br />HOLY CROSS COLLEGE UPDATES/CONCERNS: <br />Andrew Polaniecki — Dean of Students- shared they are making testing available for students <br />before they depart. They are finishing what they consider a successful semester of learning. Mr. <br />Polaniecki shared the students would come back on February third (3`d ) and they do have the <br />option to learn virtually in January. Basketball teams will continue to stay on campus through the <br />long break and will be following covid procedures. They have a covid plan to implement <br />concerning the games that will be held on campus. <br />Billy Skoch — Student at Holy Cross- shared our student body has had a long semester, but they <br />see the break coming and will continue to work hard. Many events are being offered to help the <br />students make it through the final stretch of classes. He believed the students had done a great job <br />at Holy Cross following protocol. Billy shared everything the students had learned this semester <br />would help them adjust better when they come back. <br />SAINT MARY'S COLLEGE UPDATES/CONCERNS: <br />Gloria Jenkins- Interim Vice President for Student Affairs- reported there would be no student <br />representative available for today. Covid has been their number one(1) priority. They want the <br />students to finish strong with their finals, and she commended the students and the Tri-Campus <br />community for working together. They will resume classes on February 1', 2021. They will be <br />providing a couple of days off during the spring semester at the student's request to have mental <br />health days. For this reason, they will be coming back a couple of days earlier than the other <br />campuses. <br />INDIANA UNIVERSITY SOUTH BEND UPDATES/CONCERNS: <br />Paige Risser- Director of Communications and Marketing- stated the number of positive covid <br />cases on their campus had been extremely low. The public dashboard is updated every <br />Wednesday, and we will continue to offer the testing for as long as needed. The Spring semester <br />starts January 191h° and the first (1 St) three (3) weeks are online. The students will be back in person <br />on February 81h <br />Kayla Isenbletter -Student Government President- shared from a student perspective they are doing <br />pretty well, but morale seemed to be failing a bit as students get closer to break.
