Schell and <br /> Trustcorp Bank to zone from "A" Residential , "A" Height and Area to "B" <br /> Residential , "B" Height and Area, property located at the northeast corner <br /> of the intersection of Ironwood Drive and Pleasant Street, City of South <br /> Bend <br /> APC #1226-88 <br /> Gentlemen: <br /> The above referenced ordinance and site development plan of Anne T. Schell and <br /> Trustcorp Bank was legally advertised January 5 and January 7, 1989. The Area <br /> Plan Commission gave it a public hearing on January 17, 1989, at which time the <br /> following action was taken: <br /> Upon a motion by Joseph Serge, being seconded by Robert Lehman <br /> and unanmously carried, the proposed ordinance and site <br /> development plan of Anne T. Schell and Trustcorp Bank to zone <br /> from "A" Residential , "A" Height and Area to "B" Residential , <br /> "B" Height and Area, property located at the northeast corner <br /> of the intersection of Ironwood Drive and Pleasant Street, City <br /> of South Bend, is sent to the Common Council with a favorable <br /> recommendation, subject to a Final Site Development Plan <br /> indicating the required setbacks and screening. The proposed <br /> office building is across the street from a restaurant and <br /> another office. In the Commission's opinion,the proposed <br /> office is a reasonable use for the property and would not have <br /> a detrimental effect on nearby residential areas, provided the <br /> conditions above are met. <br /> The deliberations of the Area Plan Commission and points considered in arriving <br /> at the above decision are shown in the minutes of the public hearing, and will <br /> be forwarded to you at a later date to be made a part of this report. <br /> Attached, for your consideration in the review of this matter, is a copy of the <br /> Area Plan Commission's Staff Report. <br /> Sincerely, <br /> Richard S.
