<br /> AN ORDINANCE FIXING MAXIMUM SALARIES AND WAGES OF
<br /> APPOINTED OFFICERS AND NON-BARGAINING EMPLOYEES
<br /> OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA,
<br /> FOR THE CALENDAR YEARS OF 1990, 1991 AND 1992
<br /> STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT
<br /> Pursuant to Indiana Code Section 36-4-7-3, the Mayor fixes
<br /> the compensation of each appointive officer, deputy, and other
<br /> employees of the City. All such wages and salaries are subject to
<br /> approval of the South Bend Common Council.
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
<br /> CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS FOLLOWS:
<br /> SECTION I . For calendar years 1990, 1991 and 1992 maximum
<br /> base salaries and wages for the following appointed officers and
<br /> employees of the City of South Bend, Indiana, shall be no more than
<br /> as listed below in this section; provided, however, that nothing
<br /> herein shall exclude the applicability of Section VII and VIII of
<br /> this ordinance, should the events set forth herein occur.
