a. Wooden access mats will be used to lay on top of the asphalt. This will <br />eliminate or decrease the amount of damage to the road and curb. Neither <br />stone or steel tracked equipment will be permitted to come in direct contact <br />with the road surface. Doing this will hopefully eliminate the need for replacing <br />asphalt. <br />6. Install any necessary erosion control measures. <br />7. Clear and grub the riverbank. Haul off site any debris or woodchips. <br />8. Dig stone toe key trench and install specified stone to required grade. <br />a. This will be done in sections to prevent the disturbance of a large area of <br />riverbank before stone installation reducing the possibility of erosion occurring. <br />9. Install Bio D Block encapsulated lifts to drawings. <br />10. Plant woody shrubs, seed and blanket disturbed areas. <br />11. Riverbank survey and walk through with engineer/City of South Bend representative. <br />12. Remove and install concrete curb, if needed, mill and replace asphalt if needed. Strip <br />asphalt. <br />13. Install guardrail. <br />14. Final grade, seed and blanket up to curbing. <br />15. Final survey and walk through with engineer/City of South Bend representative. <br />16. Demobilize equipment. <br />17. Provide as built drawings and necessary final reports. <br />2. Attach a list of the names and addresses of all subcontractors that you have used on public <br />works projects during the past 5 years along with a brief description of the work done by each <br />subcontractor. <br />a.
