BILL NO. <br /> ORDINANCE NO. b o r!(1-i- C V <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL <br /> OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA <br /> APPROPRIATING ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS ( $100,000.00) <br /> FOR ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT OF FREDRICKSON PARK PROPERTY <br /> STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT <br /> The Common Council of the City of South Bend has <br /> determined there is a need to secure a professional, expert <br /> environmental assessment of certain park property within the City, <br /> commonly known as the proposed Fredrickson Park site. The Common <br /> Council of the City has further determined that monies to pay for <br /> securing such an environmental assessment shall be appropriated from <br /> the Water Works General. Fund, to be administered by the Department of <br /> Public Works. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF <br /> THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section I. The sum of One Hundred Thousand Dollars <br /> ( $100,000.00) is hereby appropriated and ordered set apart out of the <br /> Water Works Fund to be used for cost related to an environmental <br /> assessment of that park property commonly known as the proposed <br /> Fredrickson Park site. This appropriation shall be administered by <br /> the Department of Public Works as set forth below: <br /> Account Description Amount <br /> 4399.10 Other Contractuals $100,000. 00 <br /> Section II.
